Automotive Repair Fundamentals - Certificate

Saskatchewan Apprenticeship & Trades Certification Commission (SATCC) and Saskatchewan Polytechnic credential eligible  FQFA

If you like to have hands on, practical experience; enjoy working on vehicles and want to learn more about vehicle repair and maintenance, this program is for you! This is an exciting new program that will introduce students to the automotive repair industry. The courses in this program will be transferable to the Automotive Service Technician Certificate Program through Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

Courses Include:

  • General shop procedures
  • Engines
  • Automotive electronics
  • Body and trim, vehicle inspection and maintenance
  • Charging systems
  • Starting systems

Entrance requirements: Grade 12 – Applicants should be physically mobile, capable of moderate lifting and have good manual dexterity. A valid driver’s license is preferred in order to operate and road test motor vehicles.
