The Practical Nursing Instructor is responsible for providing instruction in all aspects of the Practical Nursing program and preparing students to write the SALPN Practical Nursing Exam. Courses include, but are not limited to: Administration of Medications; Anatomy and Physiology 1-2; Personal and Professional Relationships 1-3; Health and Healing 1-3; Health Challenges 1-3; Introductory Pharmacology; Nursing Arts 1-3; Nursing Transitions; and Sociology 1-3. The Instructor is also responsible for monitoring and providing feedback and student 0progress; submitting required paperwork to Northlands College and affiliated agencies; and other duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this position are: a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; RN Certification; strong communication and interpersonal skills. A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered. Instructor must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnics'
