Power Engineering Technician - Certificate

Accredited by Saskatchewan Polytechnic

Graduates are prepared to work as Power Engineers or Process Operators in a variety of industrial and heating plants. These include power plants, refineries, hospitals, pulp & paper mills, breweries, mines, gas processing plants, heavy oil upgraders, fertilizer plants or chemical plants.

Through classroom instruction and 2, 3-week labs at SaskPolytech and a work placement, you will be prepared to challenge Interprovincial 4th Class examinations.

Entrance Requirements: Grade 12 with foundations 30 or pre- calculus 30 and a minimum overall average of 65%. Chemistry and physics are not required but are recommended.
