The staff of Northlands College is entrusted with the responsibility of providing you with an education, and this is something that everyone takes seriously. As a student, it is important for you to recognize that you will have some responsibilities as well.
Respect the program you are enrolled in and what its goals and objectives are. Respect your instructors and the knowledge they are willing to share with you. Respect your fellow student and his/her right to confidentiality.Respect yourself and the goals you have set for yourself.
Going to school takes time, effort and a positive attitude. It is challenging and hard work. Many times the difference between accomplishment and failure is having the right attitude.
Students are required to attend classes regularly as scheduled. Your success in the program will be affected by your attendance. Strive for 100 percent. It is your responsibility to report all absences from class to your homeroom instructor. It is also your responsibility to be on time for all classes and be willing to work. Develop a desire to succeed.
