We are currently recruiting for anEssential Skills for the Workplace (ESWP) Instructor.  The Instructor will provide instruction and tutorial support to adults registered in the program.  Areas of instruction include math, reading, science, communications, and work/life skills.
 
Additional duties include, but are not limited to; classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis; monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis; and perform other related duties as assigned.  
 
The minimal qualifications for this positions is a Bachelor of Education Degree; Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate; knowledge of and training in Adult Education principles and practices and proven ability to facilitate adult learners; Knowledge of Adult Basic Education Levels and associated learning outcomes; Instructional experiences in a cross-cultural adult education setting; strong planning, organizational and classroom management skills are essential; Experience in the field of inclusive education is mandatory; Familiarity with blended learning principles and PLATO Learning environment is desirable.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

We are currently recruiting for an Early Childhood Education Instructor who will work as part of a team dedicated to the success of students. The Instructor is responsible for instructing all aspects of the Early Childhood Education Level 1 program. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: Child Guidance (HUMD 183); Health, Safety, and Nutrition (ECE 142); and Role of Play (ECE 106).  
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: setting up and monitoring practicums, monitoring student progress; classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis; monitoring student progress and other duties as assigned.

The Distance Education Instructor Aide will work as part of a team dedicated to the success of students. The Instructor Aide will work in a learning centre environment to provide students with educational support.  This support will include assisting students with all their learning needs; promoting a positive learning environment; monitoring a computer lab; maintaining building and equipment security; promoting distance education learning skills; promoting distance education opportunities; working as part of a team dedicated to increasing student retention and success; and other duties as assigned.
 
The minimal qualifications for this position are a relevant two year post-secondary diploma, however applicants with a relevant University degree will be given preference; strong computer skills; recent/relevant experience in distance education; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and experience working with adults in a cross-cultural learning environment is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

As an educational leader in the classroom the instructor in Mental Health & Wellness program will be responsible for delivering Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT) programs and curricula with the purpose of promoting, organizing and implementing instructional activities which create a learning environment that guides and provides the greatest opportunity for student success. 
 
Courses include but are not limited to:  Concurrent Disorders; Indigenous Care Practices; Counseling Theories; Domestic Violence; Abuse and Trauma; Emotional and Behavioral Issues with Youth; Ethics & the Legalities; Grief & Loss; Human Development; Professional Practices for Mental Health & Wellness; Recreation, Leisure & Wellness; Field Placement 111,  Field Placement IV.  Additional duties include: classroom management, taking attendance, monitoring student progress, submitting reports, and other duties as assigned.

This program is accredited through Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT) instructors must meet the requirements of the accrediting institute.
