Environmental Sciences (Year 1 of 2)

Accreditation: Lakeland College  FQFA

In year one, students in the Environmental Sciences program develop core knowledge and applied skills in biology, chemistry, ecosystems, topography, environmental sustainability, scientific writing and statistics.

For the diploma’s second year of study, students choose one of four majors. They can continue with: Northlands College - Air Ronge, SK
• Environmental Conservation & Reclamation

Or transfer to:
Lakeland College - Vermillion, AB
• Water Conservation & Management
• Wildlife & Fisheries Conservation
• Conservation & Restoration Ecology

Graduates of the diploma programs may be eligible to complete two more years of study with partnering institutions to pursue a university degree.
