Plumbing & Pipefitting - Certificate

Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Saskatchewan Apprenticeship & Trades Certification Commission (SATCC) credential eligible  FQFA

The Plumbing and Pipefitting Applied Certificate program provides entry level knowledge and skill development in plumbing installation, water supplies, waste systems and plumbing fixtures.

Students will learn to install a typical piping system in a commercial building or industrial plant. They will also obtain a basic understanding of pipefitting which will benefit them with obtaining employment in the construction industry.

Training In this program will include:

  • Blueprint reading
  • Plumbing and pipefitting science
  • Fabrication and installation
  • Knowledge of equipment used in the trade
  • Trade mathematics
  • Safety, knots and rigging

Location: Buffalo Narrows Campus or Air Ronge River Campus
